This lovely 4 Bedroom Villa with Private HEATED swimming pool stands on a hillside, in its own grounds of 4 acres surrounded by Olive, Carob,Almond and Fig trees. The villa is only 2km from the coastal town of Armacao de Pera with its lovely 2 mile long

Villa Details

Location.

Situated on a hill behind the town of Armacao de Pera, this villa stands in it's own grounds of 4 acres, once a vineyard (hence the name) but is now surrounded by Carob, Olive, Fig and Almond trees. Providing wonderful views of the countryside and around to the Monchique Mountains in the north, this rural setting is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Faro Airport is only 40 mins away.

Accommodation:

Entrance hall leading to large lounge/dining room with satellite TV, DVD, Cd player, Video player, and ADSL connection. Wood burning stove for winter use. Dining table with seating for 8 persons. Fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and all necessary electrical items. A seperate utility room houses the washing machine. On the ground floor can be found a large double bedroom with en suite shower room, two further twin rooms which share the full family bathroom. On the first floor can be found the master bedroom with en suite full bathroom and seperate balcony. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, electric radiators, fans and sliding doors leading to the pool area. Cot/high chair. Maid Service - 5 days per week.

Pool Area

The 8 x 4.5 metre heated pool is surrounded by large terraces with seperate pool house providing al fresco dining for 10 persons, with fridge, bbq, exterior shower, ample sun loungers, parasols and extra garden seating. Steps lead down from the terraces to the landscaped gardens below. To the front of the property the gravel drive provides car parking for several cars. Car Hire Essential for this villa.

About the Area.

The town of Armacao de Pera offers a host of shops, bars, restaurants, banks, fish and vegetable markets and much more. A palm tree lined promenade running the length of the town is a delight in the evening and a busy resort during the daytime. The quaint village of Porches to the West of the villa is renown for three excellent restaurants - 'Oleao de Porches' Mr Grillo and The Old Winery.

Water Sports

From the beach at Armacao de Pera there is a variety of water sports available, jet ski's, wind surfing, pedaloes, banana boats, diving, fishing, paragliding, and a visit to the sardine caves to the West of the town. Other sports near to the villa include Horse riding, Tennis, Golf, Bowling, and Clay Pigeon shooting.

Golf

There are several Golf courses near to this villa. The nearest being 'Amendoeira' designed by Nick Faldo and opened in 2008 - this stunning course is only a 5 minute drive from the villa. Other courses in our area include Salgados, Silves Golf, Palmares, Morgado, Vale de Milho and Carvoeiro Clube Golf. All the above mentioned are within a 10-15 minute drive away.

Water Parks

A great family day out is to visit one of the Water Parks - Slide & Splash is an ideal park for all ages, whilst 'Aqualand' would be better suited for those who enjoy a challenge!
Both parks offer good facilities, changing rooms, restaurants, good parking areas, lockers and good sized swimming pools.

Zoomarine

This is another good family day out. There are dolphin shows, sea lions, seals, parrots, public swimming pool, aviary and lots more to keep the children entertained. The main attraction is the Killer Whale show and of course with the clowns. Here you can swim with the Dolphins, but at a price!
