Salvador

Salvador is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Due to its very beauty and to a series of unique features, it has become a primary destination for international tourism. The bay could be used as a harbor and was well-located, becoming a reference for sailors and one of the best-known and most visited places in the New World. This gave force to the idea of building a city. King D. João VI hence named the miltary officer and politician Tomé de Souza general - governor and gave him the task of founding the first Portuguese city in the Americas.<BR>

Villa Pitta

Villa Pitta is situated in Vilas do Atlantico, one of the most exclusive and elegant parts of Salvador. The Salvador coastline is one of the longest in Brazil. There are 50 km (31 mi) of beaches distributed between the High City and the Low City, from Inema, in the railroad suburb to the Praia do Flamengo, on the other side of town. While the Low City beaches are bordered by the waters of the All Saints Bay (the country’s most extensive bay), the High City beaches, from Farol da Barra to Flamengo, are bordered by the Atlantic Ocean.
